• Bonding

Bonding is a conservative way to repair slightly chipped, discolored, or crooked teeth. During dental bonding, a white filling is placed onto your tooth to improve its appearance. The filling 'bonds' with your teeth, and because it comes in a variety of tooth-colored shades, it closely matches the appearance of your natural teeth.

• Teeth Whitening

There are many products and techniques available for patients who want to achieve a brighter smile. The best way to begin any teeth-whitening regimen is to schedule an appointment and talk to Dr. Stuckey about the differences between in-office professional whitening and at-home whitening.

Your smile is one of your most important features. A beautiful smile never goes out of style. Achieving a beautiful, healthy smile is easier than you think.

Teeth Whitening

In Office Teeth Whitening
The first professional option is commonly referred to as in-office whitening. This procedure is performed in a dental office. During an appointment, your dental professional will apply a whitening gel to the surface of your teeth. The entire office visit generally takes about 90 minutes and you will be able to see results immediately.

Take Home Teeth Whitening
This visit to the dental office would be when the hygienist takes impressions for trays. These are the trays you will use to bleach your teeth in the privacy of your own home with the bleach that comes with the trays. We use the Opalescence bleach in our office.

At Stuckey Family Dentistry, we proudly use Opalescence brand whitening products. Opalescene gels contain an active whitening ingredient that penetrates your enamel to get to discolored molecules. Oxygen molecules from the whitening agents react with the discolored molecules in your teeth, breaking the bonds that hold them together. The oxygen molecules spread, whitening the entire tooth. As a result, you are left with a brighter, whiter smile.
